OK, who wants to try it first?

I don't want to start a gun rights debate but when will people learn it's illegal to bring guns into Mexico and if you're caught it's a big problem. This old "I forgot I had it" thing is ridiculous. Responsible weapons owners know where their weapons are. Yes, it's easy to forget, but that is the same excuse little kids use when they are late for dinner.

I can't imagine forgetting you have a gun, but the odd shotshell or .22 round can easily hide in crevices and small spaces under truck seats. Once in Lobos a friend looking for missing keys came up with two No. 8 target shells I didn't dream were under there. I've since dealt with the problem by making sure all ammo goes back exactly where it belongs. No more tossing a vest in the truck so a shell can roll under the seat and ruin my life later.

My guess is they think it's as easy as bringing a gun into our gun free zones, oops .
