Make sure you keep them cool and dry! will last about 10 days in fridge. You'll here them opening
in the fridge every now and then. Do not use ice as they will sense the water and open. Fresh
water is toxic for clams. Longer term Steam open about 15 or 20 clams. Just wash and steam
them in a steamer or put clean rocks in pan and clams on top. 7-8 minutes clams are open,
scrape out in pint freezer bags and put about 1/2 cup of steamed broth in bags. Freeze, good for
a year. I usually bring back 50/75 lbs every november which yield about 20 freezer bags
