safety of road between penasco and el gulfo?

How safe is the road between penasco and el gulfo and can u drive it in a sedan??

The main hazzard on the road to El Golfo is sand drifts. I travel it at night and sometimes the lines are hard to see.

never had a problem on that road except as Pinto pointed out the sand drifts
