Went out for an afternoon fishing/hooping trip with David "bajaconcept". David has a place in Cholla Bay and we'll probably be done there in April to whack some biggun's...can't wait, sure hope it happens.

Sea and weather conditions were excellent until 7pm when rain and Santa Ana winds kicked in. We cleaned the nets around 8:30pm because it was getting too rough with winds to 25mph and the bugs stopped crawling.
Fishing was pretty good on the live squid.

Here is David with a nice Triggerfish.

Typical schoolie Sand Bass.

David and one of his Sandies, with my rod going bendo in the background.

Nice Calico Bass.

Nice haul of big Yellow Crabs.

David with the big bug of the night.

Ended the night with 9 keeper bugs for the two of us. Made for some good Superbowl eats. Can't wait to do it again. HOOK-UP!!

Till next tide,
