Returned from a great weekend in Penasco today and was shocked.....the US Customs had 4 lanes open (the truck lane) and they split that one into 2 lanes....so effectively they had 5 lanes going. I hit the border about 1:20 and was thru in less than 15 minutes..... Wish they were so efficient all the time.
This was less time than it took me to cross into Mexico on Friday.....at about 11:30am, it took about 20 minutes....the Mexicans only had one lane going, and were having trouble with the gate.
