Sonoyta Today - Tuesday, June 3rd

On the Frontera Sonoyta Facebook page there was a warning for today. Apparently there have been vehicles spotted around town with AK-47's and AR-15's and they are predicting a "house cleaning" between 2 criminal groups. We all know they are not going after tourists and innocent people, but there's always the chance of being in the wrong place at the wrong time anywhere you go. So, if you're traveling through Sonoyta today I wouldn't be stopping for tacos or buying alcohol. Just get through and get out ASAP.

some kind of gunmen action right next to the Mission in Caborca a few days ago too.....They are keeping it quiet.

I will be traveling with family on the 5th and hopefully be crossing by 10am before all the bad guys are out of bed ;)
Every year I hear something that would send Rick D'Amico into a frenzy, and every year I have a great time.
I rarely ever stop in Sonoyta. See you all at Circus Mexicus
