I was stopped at the light at Constitucion and Ocana and my truck for a couple seconds started shaking a tiny bit almost like the engine had a miss... I asked my wife if she felt the movement and she confirmed.. Dang! There was one in like 2004ish and I felt it walking up to the stairs of my 2nd floor NEW TRACT house that was almost on the Riallto, one house back. I was day-off, day-drinking, thought maybe I should pull back. Days later figured out it was the same exact time.

So that terremoto was centered on the north slope of the Pinnacate Lava Shield. Maybe the old girl is waking up after her ten thousand year snooze.

I saw that story early today and I must say it is a little FAR FETCHED!

An earthquake that occurred thousands of miles south with not a recorded shake in between??
