Tequila

I know someone has asked this before but I can't find the thread. How much tequila can I take back to the US? I want to take gifts from the tequila factory but I'm not sure if I can take enough and if I'm over the limit can I just declare and pay the duty at the lukeville crossing?

Rules state 1 liter per legal aged drinker.
No, you cannot declare and pay....I checked into that also. Bummer
If you are concerned about being stopped, then just don't do it. I usually bring back one extra per legal drinker. I just tell them I have tequila when they ask.
I have never said how much. I only do it twice a year.
