Tequila can only be made in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. But the Tequila Factory in Rocky Point is an extension of a 3 generation family owned and operated brewery, this is what is called a "Tequila Artesanal" in other words a very unique tequila made in small quantities, with no chemicals added and from 100% blue agave.
At the Tequila Factory in Puerto Penasco we give you a spoken video tour of how tequila is produced and answer any question you may have about tequila. After that there is a tequila tasting from 6 types of tequilas (blanco, reposado, anejo, triple distilled, antiguo & gold) and 9 different flavors of tequila.
You will also find a variety of commercial tequilas and other spirits, leather goods, unique barrel furniture, Mayan beaded jewelry and souvenirs.
