ULSD in puerto penasco

Can anyone tell me positively if I can get ULSD locally? And if so is it common or only 1 or 2 places? Last thread on this 2 to 3 yrs old so could have changed.

Don't have a good current answer for you. My old 7.3 diesel didn't matter and it loved Pemex diesel. My newer 6.7 has enough range from filling up in Ajo to make it to PP and back again, so I haven't bought any diesel in PP.

Assumption on my part -- a lot of the gas/diesel sold in Sonoita/PP was refined in the US, so I'd like to think it meets ULSD content limits.

Ok thanks yea my 6.7 can make it there and back but only 26 gal andwhen pulling my 5th wheel doesn't leave a whole lot extra for running around

You'd probably be okay in Penasco according to this;

Mexico postpones clean diesel rule for Pemex for five years

Mexico's energy regulator voted on Wednesday to defer for five more years a rule requiring national oil company Pemex to produce, distribute and sell ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) nationwide.

Yea saw that article and thinking the same, just not sure I'm willing to take the chance with my luck. Be a long drive back in limp mode.
