Sean O’Connor was vocalist, guitarist and song writer for first, "Vibraluxe" and then Dem Bones. The bands played a combined 17 years in Albuquerque until 2002 when a sex change operation that involved dolphin parts went horribly wrong and forced Sean to retire and open a combination welding and massage shop. He return...s now to front the bacchanalian billy-grass band: Quality Retreads! Kerry cooper was the original drummer for "Vibraluxe" until he was arrested in 1987 for ties with IRA and playing a Boran without a license. After a grueling stint in the same prison that Martha Stewart served her sentence, Kerry returned to Albuquerque to play drums with The Memphis P Tails, Sons of the Unlucky, and Ryan McGarvery. He now joins Quality Retreads to play drums, rub board and boran for which he is now fully licensed and insured. After returning from child services, various foster homes and covert military operations in Bernalillo, Dylan O'Connor has played lead guitar for the mucho mighty rock-a-billy band The Roustabouts. He now plays guitar and sings in Quality Retreads because his dad buys him Guinness and gives him guitars. Scotty "Love Muscle" Chumann has played stand up bass with Slick 50 and The Roustabouts, and still plays with the uncompromising killer country band Swingin' Meat. His favorite gig, however, other than his solo lubricated python act, is rocking with The Retreads. When these four rejects get together the result is a throbbing zephyr of Gaelic, Delta, and Appalachian sounds mixed with a rat rod twang that makes a body quiver and shake. Is it shock or is it ecstasy? Who cares?!
