I've never been stung, but my kids got stung all over their body in San Carlos about 10 years ago and still complain about it. A scorpion decided to fight me last year, and won. That was enough wildlife adventures to last me for awhile.

Was it a slow week down there? I have found over the years that on slow summer weeks, the food quality goes way down. I am guessing that most places can't afford to throw out unused food, so it isn't very fresh when there aren't customers to turnover the food supply quickly. Just my opinion...
