    What's with the southbound interrogation?

Left RP Last Friday, October 9, crossing border about 1pm. The southbound line was almost back to the 1-mile mark. Appeared very few were getting green light. Young women with Aduana shirts were busy checking every car going through. I hope this is temporary.

Not long after the new restaurant "Fish" opened a buddy and I stopped in to check it out and had a dozen perfect oysters on the half shell. Delicious! I was surprised.

U.S. Income taxes & foreign owned assets

We started to disclose in 2012 because rental proceeds were picking up and the red ink stopped flowing. My understanding is the fideicomisco does not trigger a special report to the IRS but Mexican bank accounts do. Not an expert response, just an answer to dirtsurfer's question.

    WI-FI Extenders

New Very simple to resolve this without purchasing anything. Make one of these and point it towards the rooms you having signal issues with. http://www.labnol.org/software/increase-wifi-signal-strength-with-aluminum/8064/ Reminds me of wrapping aluminum foil over rabbit ears

    Eagle Eating

Osprey. Love watching the ones that live on the pole near CEDO in Las Conchas. There's a family there every year. I'm always surprised at the size of the fish they can take off with and bring back to the little ones. Ospreys are about half the size of Bald Eagles, we have a number of those...

    Importing Used Merchandise

I have a question for the regulars here. I know there are monetary limits on New merchandise that I can import without paying the impuesto, but what is the real deal on Used merchandise? I'm looking at bringing a fairly recent, but used, washing machine down. Kind of large to tuck under the seat.

    Iron Gate

oxidation. It might clean up with a rubbing compound, which would be a lot less work than sanding and painting.

    Iron Gate

That's one way steel boats are protected, so makes sense, especially with a 2-part polyurethane paint. Does anyone in RP have this capability?

    Iron Gate

I do have some general ideas regarding design, and looking for something in a metal. Anodized aluminum would be great given corrosion issues, but iron or steel would be fine if it can be powder coated. I'm looking for a metal frame with interesting design features that would allow a composite...
