In further research I need to purchase a digital electric meter. This meter shows your usage and your production. CFE sells and installs this meter. I also learned that you need to purchase panels that supply the proper voltage. The panels from the US will not necessarily work in Mexico. I...

I am installing a solar panel system and want to tie it into CFE to offset my bill. Same as they do in the US. Does anyone know if CFE allows this? I don't want a battery bank to take care of. Rick

I actually saw the wind generator turning at pretty good speed on my way out of town at 4 am Sunday morning.

Saturday there was a chain link fence around the trash area and signs saying no dumping. On Wednesday when I came in there was a huge pile of trash just south of the collection area.

Apparently the association is at odds with the city over trash pickup. This is going to get ugly for the HOA. There is information on the HOA site.

I will stop by next week and see him. Its simple welding and I have my welder down there but I just hate welding anymore. I hope he is able to do some field tig welding. thanks, Rick

The Osprey that I see is on the power pole just behind the two story white house north east of you. I may have met you once. Rick

I watch that same Osprey when I am down. He is so proud when he bring his catch back to eat it on the pole. I enjoy watching all the animals in Cholla Bay. Is your house the one with the new concrete driveway?

I bring all my plumbing supplies from the states. In fact I bring almost all my building supplies from the states except concrete. Who knew sch 40 ABS is different in Mexico, much thinner.

Thats good to know. Does it matter if the water is filtered or is it the minerals in the water?
