How important is the expiration date on heartworm Rx?

Sounds good. I considered asking my vet, but was sure they would say to throw them away. After all, they make a lot of money selling the meds.

How important is the expiration date on heartworm Rx?

    Yes, they are individually sealed.

How important is the expiration date on heartworm Rx?

I just found an old box of Tri-Heart Plus for dogs 26 - 50 lbs. But it shows an expiration date of Sept 2010. Should I throw them away or can any of the animal charities use them? (I can bring them down next month.) In general, I take expiration dates with a small grain of salt. But this is...

First timer to Rocky Point next week and have questions for the veterans

How long does it take for them to "kill" your number? I sometimes go 5 - 6 months without going to Peñasco. My Sprint cell phone is $1.19 / minute, but I only use it for emergencies. I have TelMex and internet in Las Conchas, but am considering a TelCel (or other) cell phone for while...

Dr. Sidhartha Hindu? Anybody Heard of Him/Her?

That's now true for children. Doesn't apply to adults until 2014. Also, I am referring to getting a policy. If you have a policy, they can't use pre-existing condition to deny a claim or to drop you. The only way they can drop you now is fraud.

Dr. Sidhartha Hindu? Anybody Heard of Him/Her?

In many cases the "offshore" treatments - including the travel costs - are lower than they are in the US. That doesn't mean that they can afford either choice. It just adds options.

Dr. Sidhartha Hindu? Anybody Heard of Him/Her?

2a - Even people who can afford insurance can't get it to do pre-existing conditions. (It's truly mind-boggling the minor conditions that insurance companies will use to deny coverage!)

    Mexican Health Insurance

I'm interested in the eczema cream, too. I have a friend (in TX) that has has eczema non-stop for the last several years. US doctors try all sorts of things and she gets no relief. I doubt I could ever get her to go to Peñasco, but I would be happy to pick some up for her. Would it require a...

    Mexican Health Insurance

One policy for US and Mexico? That sounds interesting. Is it hard to qualify for? Say with major or minor pre-existing conditions?

    Sonoyta Bridge?

No problems yesterday morning -- even though there was water standing in the streets in several areas. 2-way traffic crossing the bridge without delays. However there was no power at the border crossing or at Organ Pipe. I would hope that's been restored by now.

    Mexican Health Insurance

We're looking into that option as well. For us, the cost is around $250 per person per year. The next tier (based on age) is around $350. Sorry, I don't remember the age cut-off -- maybe 55 or 60???? You do have to have at least an FM3 Visa -- not just the FMM. What we're thinking right now...

August in Peñasco, are there any people there?

We get to Peñasco about 3 times per year. But since it's 1200 miles (one way) we try to stay for 3-4 weeks at a time.

August in Peñasco, are there any people there?

    My house in Las Conchas is in "Tarifa 1E." For our 4/Jul/12 - 3/Ago/12 billing period we used 788 KWh. The cost was $609 pesos based on: 300 KWh @ $0.549 = $164.70 450 KWh @ $0.698 = $314.10 38 KWh @ $0.900 = $34.2 + taxes and base charge. Total came to $616.81. I guess the 8 peso reduction...

Thank you Shelquilts - it's refreshing to see an employer treat their employees well these days. It's been my personal observation that employees who are treated well tend to work harder and better. Kudos.
