Looks like lock down will continue for awhile

One thing interesting about the border restriction announcement what all of the border crossing between Arizona and Sonora were mentioned except the crossing at Lukeville/Sonoyta. Probably just an over site, but I looked on US as well as Mexican news sites and all included the official...

    Border Wall

Just an opinion..The Mafia didn't go away when prohibition ended, they just found other enterprises. It will be the same with the cartels and drugs. They'll just find something else. That being said, the entire "war on drugs" was no better a strategy than the war in Vietnam. N possibility of...

Are you from Tucson and lucky to be stuck here?

I appreciate you have a point of view but please don’t make stuff up and post it like it is factual. The number of deaths in he US from car accidents last year was just shy of 39,000. So far in less than 6 months more than 120,000 have died from the coronavirus. I am very much in favor of forums...

Looks like lock down will continue for awhile

I appreciate what you’re saying but your logic is incorrect. The numbers you posted show the probability you currently HAVE or HAD the virus, not the probability of getting it.

Looks like lock down will continue for awhile

We sold our house in the Phx area to move full time to our home in Penasco literally just as the closures happened. Our stuff is now in storage and we are waiting patiently (OK not so patiently), living in an AirBnB. With some of the restrictions being lifted we planned to come down to our house...

Looks like lock down will continue for awhile

It seems like we don;t know for 100% sure what the spray solution is. Will any of you not come to Penasco based on not knowing what you're getting sprayed with?

    To All...

My profession requires critical review as well as critical thinking. Ideas must be challenged. It's a part of the job. It would be great to have ideas constructively challenged as well as opinions stated as opinion rather than opinions stated as facts. That's far different than name calling...

They think the virus is the fault of the US visitors

The medical and virological expertise of some on this forum amazes me. How many of you have been involved in FDA submissions, clinical trials, off label use of products, etc etc. Some of you seem to think these efforts are like video games where you either win or lose and that there are hacks or...

    About the beaches

What I realize is that I work with a group of scientists and virologists among other disciplines. The estimated mortality rate of COVID-19 is about 10X the rate of our normal seasonal flu, best case (1% vs .01%) 1% is seen as the best case among experts. The most likely case is 1.7%.. We have...

    About the beaches

To Whomever feels it applies. I am on twice weekly conference calls for CDC updates. Let me simply say this..If you do not feel the the Coronavirus is real, or that it is not a big deal, you are simply a fool waiting to die. Your choice, but please don't go killing others by not heeding the...

How did you find Puerto Penasco

In 1979, when the original Gus Brown was battling the Mexican Govt, we came down to Cholla Bay with friend. Been coming ever since and now our home is in Encanto. Not much of a story, but it's been interesting to see what has changed (a lot), and what has stayed the same (not much).

I work with medical researchers and they referred me to the website below (you will have to copy and paste the link) Right now there are over 100 legitimate studies going on throughout the world with people working around the clock looking at ways to mitigate covid-19. The 3 main categories are...
