Sorry I missed it...

The road is complete!!! It has been confirmed. Gov. Bours is supposed to come to Penasco on the 17th to do the big bla bla bla ceremony.

I had some friends return to San Diego via the Coastal Highway about 10 days ago. I talked to them a few days ago and they said that it was 99% finished with just a couple short gravel spots. I think that the announcement was about 30 days premature. Good news though.

Same as has been stated here before. They know that it goes on but the only way to stop it is to report it. Always get the number of the car or truck and go to the comandancia. They do take it very seriousely. They don't get paid very well and it can be tempting but it is illeagal.

They deliver a stack every month to our office and developments. Sometimes it does not come out at the beginning of the month that it is published but it always shows up.

I was out with some preventiva and transito guys last night until almost 3. Went by the comandancia today to say hi. Said they had no idea what I was talking about...

I doubt it. I talked to one of my cop buddies last night and he did not mention anything about it. I am sure he would have said something if it was real. I will check with him today and report.

I usually recommend Playa Bonita. Decent prices, decent rooms, bar, restaurant, beachfront... It is kind of middle of the road but pretty nice.

I have always launched at Cholla Bay. Depending on where you keep your boat, it may not be worth the drive. $20 launch and recovery for my size boat (21') and have never had to pay anyone to take care of my boat while I was out. Villa is the best launcher there and he will take very good care of...
