    Peso exchange rates

Terry, which ATM did you use? Roberto, Up until this year when I withdrew from a ATM in RP, usually Banorte, the rate I received was almost the same as what was listed in the currency markets. (close to the higher amount posted in Banorte's window). Starting this year Banorte started showing...

    Peso exchange rates

Just do a little research there are more than a few ways to avoid the foreign transaction fees. I know Well's Fargo charges 3% and $10 using a CC and a flat $10 on ATM debit withdrawals in Penasco plus the Mexican fees. That prompted me to get a Capitol One acct. and got a Fidelity brokerage...

Cholla Bay water and sewer update

I'm pretty sure it's SBR who would be liable unless they passed the lien on with the sale to new developers or simply dismissed it, so who knows. But I do have confidence in Mike Dugan to be able to get this sorted out, it's a mess for sure. Should hear something from the Cholla HOA in future...

    Peso exchange rates

I don't pay an additional fee from my US bank. I use Capitol One checking debit card and my Fidelity Debit card. I also use both of the credit cards with my 2 accounts. No fee's and get 1.5-2% back on top of a great exchange rate using my credit cards. Someone here, posted this site that shows...

Anybody But Me Been Hearing This Ad on the Radio???

There are as many as 20 cars parked in the screened off area across from the Esmeralda last week when we drove by 10X. We'll see if the Cholla HOA files anything to stop the work, (Cholla HOA has(had) a lien on the property to finish water and sewer install in Cholla Bay). Could be interesting...

    Sewer smell in bathroom

My 1988 Cholla house didn't have a septic vent pipe or a P trap when built. I had the sewer smell on and off until I re-did the shower, added a P trap and added the vent pipe. Problem solved.

    Jet Ski Under a Grand

Mexico Joe, Congrat's on the ski purchase. I hope the trailer isn't a Playcraft brand, if it's a steel boxed construction be prepared for some serious rust issues after a few years of launching in the ocean. Mine is a 2004 PC and I always wash down the ski and trailer even flushing out the...

    Scanoeing las conchas

When we were down in mid-March the water off Pinto Point was glass for almost the whole week we were there. My local buddy said it was like that for 2 weeks before we came down. I don't think I ever saw it that smooth in all the time we've owned the house.

Need a source for the Stucco foam trim for around windows.

Rick, I'm pretty sure Molduclas is the place my guy told me about 2 years ago but he couldn't remember where it was when i asked about it today. I believe they actually make the molded stucco pieces there.
