Stuart... I guess Rick's not superstitious... he carved it up for AZ ROB and friends... we did go out this morning and caught a 25 pound gulf grouper, but maybe there was some bad karma going on because we had two shake off, and one of the two had to be huge because it was just pulling line off...

while at the island today a sea lion bumped my kayak while I had a 6 year old boy onboard with me, and his 12 year old brother was able to touch the sea lion on the back just before it swam off... the sound quality is low because this is my underwater camera and it will not pick up sound through...

Now it looks like daddy did push her into this for some reality TV show... what the hell is wrong with some people to risk their childs life for $$$... I think someone should strap this girls dad to a boat and set him a drift for a couple weeks...

A guy who lives at Lake Conroe (50 miles north of Houston) saw a ball bouncing around kind ofstrange in the lake and went to investigate. It turned out to be a flathead catfish that had apparently tried to swallow a basketball which became stuck in its mouth!! The fish was totally...

what about the first guy in a circus to be shot out of a canon??? <--- just joking... That is true though people like John Glenn and the first responders after 9/11 were very brave... But in the case of Lindberg and Earhardt someone had to finance their attemps... the girl still had to choose...

I still think she was brave to do this... I know I do a lot of stupid things, but I know I wouldn't try to sail around the world alone... so I do think she is brave and deserves that recognition of standing above those that get a trophy for participating...

Truly an amazing brave young girl... I am hoping all turns out well...
