    Dog Health Certificates

Rabies certificate for our pets is the only thing we have ever had to show the Mexican agents. For a few years they wanted a copy of my drivers license and took a picture of my pets for their files.

    Dog Health Certificates

There was something on FB about it. Go there and do a search for Mexico heath cert PDF. Fill it out with you pet's info from your US doc's. I have it somewhere, if you can't find it let me know and I'll search for it.

Anybody But Me Been Hearing This Ad on the Radio???

Until Encanto and Playa La Jolla started growing during the early 90's, we could ride from the estuary where the oyster farms are to where the Mayan is now. As soon as Playa La Jolla went in we were chased off of the beach by security guards on ATV's. Then we started going north past Black Mtn...

Anybody But Me Been Hearing This Ad on the Radio???

SB, Thx. We were there over 20 years ago riding our quads up and down the beach a few times, That area is so nice like most of the beaches from Encanto to Santo Tomas. That was the fuel range of our ATV's riding from Cholla and back and refilling in RP before going to home to Cholla. I bet...

    Playa Bonita

Ron66, Thanks for the update. Sad if it's a continuing thing. Like you, for years we would go have a couple of appetizers and a couple of drinks and let our 4 kids go exploring on the beach. Sure hope it isn't an ongoing thing, It's really not their beach and how could they enforce it during...

    The Cholla Oyster House

We discovered a great restaurant in Cholla Bay. The Cholla Oyster House, located on the main road through Cholla about one block before getting to JJ's. It brings a new level of dining to Cholla. It has a great atmosphere, wonderful view of the bay in Cholla, food is pretty good mostly pasta...

    Nice tunnel

I think the news outlets treat everything by locale. In Ohio, Mich. Indiana etc. Bad Chicago news is almost local so it creates a lot of interest. Same with AZ news, Mexico is our neighbor so bad news from there is treated like local news. (you get more in Tucson news outlets than in Phx. I was...

    Info/opinions wanted

Sounds like a plan, I think a cheap quad from Electra or other store is my next purchase. Use it for my girls and wife to putt around on but keep the Honda 400 and 450 for people who know how to ride them.

    Info/opinions wanted

Jerry, I'm not seeing any $1,200 Honda/Polaris quads, $2,200-4,000 range, not that many on Phx CL. Do you know of any? I rinse my Quad's (or old 3 wheelers) off every trip if I'm on the beach near the water or every 3 trips if I'm just putting around. Only some surface rust after 10-15 years...

    Info/opinions wanted

Looking around in RP for used quads can be tough to find, stay away from the rentals you see around town. You (or a friend) could put a wanted ad on the board in JJ's for some, there are plenty sitting in peoples garages (in Cholla and other places) not being used since Rhinos/Razers have taken...

    Outdoor map of Sonoran Coast

Roberto, Sounds like you're referring to the culture shift that has taken over Penasco (and other places) during the last 30+ years, Find some sleepy little town with a great beach. Americanize it, turn it into a lesser place than it was, with all the modern problems brought to it. Then move on...

Anybody But Me Been Hearing This Ad on the Radio???

Casa Blanca is a SBR property, While building the Esmeralda and Casa Blanca, SBR was funding the construction of the Esmeralda from funds received from sales of the Casa Blanca and visa versa. Sadly both properties are now unfinished. I know of one construction vendor who is still owed more...

Water from the air-from a Phoenix Company

My Mini-Splits in Cholla, one 2 ton and a one ton condensate drain produce 6-8 gallons of water per day in early July. I bet it's close to 10 gallons a day in Aug. I use the condensate to water my plants when I'm there.

    Gill nets....the bomb drops

The Vaquita situation is bleak per any articles I've read about it. Drastic situations sometimes require even more drastic actions. Wish the consumption of Totoaba would disappear, but I bet gill nets would still be used. I was snorkeling in front of my house in Cholla at Pinto Point and saw...
