Surely they are sniffing for drugs. But, i have heard that dogs false alert a large percentage of the time. If they alert on your car, i would try and have the officer do it again before they tear your car apart looking for something that isn't there.

We were on a cruise last march that had Belize as one of the stops. Its my impression that the water is too shallow for too long of a way to actually make cruise ships docks at the town. when we were taking the tender to shore (about 5 miles away) you could count about 6 ships there with us...

I love that dish also. had it last month and this month already. its on the menu at ramon's and I asked him about it and he doesn't make it the same way at all. I read somewhere that La Curva is for sale. BTW, not many people there in decmeber when I went, but last week, packed!

thread resurrection: I've never seen bugs, but the we've had breakfast there many times. Love the Chile-quiles, not sure how to spell it, add 2 fried over easy eggs to it and its is fantastic! The cinnamon rolls, warm, are fantastic too!

Of course it will benefit the local economy. people will come in a day or 2 before the cruise, stay somewhere, eat somewhere, shop somewhere and buy gas to go home. maybe stay a day or 2 after....not to mention all the food and fuel that has to go on a cruise ship.
