checked in bella sirena on my first trip to pp on 9/12/14 was leaving on 9/16/14 ,checked in with a group of family 24 in all including 9 children ranging from ages two to nine adults are in there late forties to age sixty. we all drove up from Baja ca and California we used one credit cc to make our reservations. day 1 problems getting towels, only two towels for a four guest condo, settled in. at the pool the security guard informs us that there is no drinking in bottles at the pool, they bring us plastic cups, rest of the day uneventful. day two: day two at the beach, enjoying the pools, in the evening some of us went to the bar to watch the maywether maidana fight. at the bar my cousins are screaming like anyone excited watching a game. after wards some of us go to bed, too tired, some go to the pool, security comes by and tells us that pool us closes at nine but the pool by the beach closes at eleven. we move to the other pool. security stops by one more time to ask us to turn our radio down..we do. end of night . day three, we go to the beach, about six pm we go to the pool spend the rest of the evening at the pool, uneventful .day, three, at the beach, in the eve, some of us go to bed , some go to the pool, at the pool security comes and ask us to turn down the radio, we do, they stop by again and two ppl are smoking in the pool, they tell us no smoking ad the ppl turn off their ciggs, they come back again with the security mnger, he informs us that we have continuously broken their rules and will be evicted, he says he is calling the police so we can be escorted out,we start asking why? there is a group of people we don't know and they come to say we are doing nothing wrong, they are from Arizona, they are outraged......

you don't turn out kids after midnight in any country...Years ago guys were renting a party at Tahoe I used to maintain for my boss...party got a bit wild and cops came and thought the young adults were having more fun than these glorified security guards ever had. They call the boss and want to kick them out and are told in colorful language the turning drunk people out into the dark, in below freezing weather is ****stupid.I went and seized the kegs...people cried...

the head of security already has our room #s5 rooms ..and says we are all evicted. a nine year old starts to cry, some people from our group are already in bed .police arrives, they are very polite and say they cannot evict us they are just to make sure nothing gets out of control. we are asking why but his mind is made up, we have to lea
Refreshing to see a place that actually enforces (after polite warnings) its rules as well as municipal law on behalf of its customers.
as a previous condo owner I am familiar with the rr, however there were a lot of people from mexico that were not. we were never warned, security would come and ask us to turn down the radio and we would, if they came to ask something we always complied. as I condo owner, I know they system, one verbal warning, a written, a fine, none of those were given to us, I do know that the owner is responsible for want his guests , and if the owner does not want to take the risk, well they shouldn't rent them out. again I am going to point out that not everyone participated, so why did they evict 5 units why not evict the people that were breaking the rules???? people that were already in bed. children that had nothing to do with the problems, why everyone?? children ??....at one am?? im not posting this for sympathy, im only posting this because it could happen to another family, and its WRONG. im not expecting the hotels and condos to put up with every guest but but only to take the appropriate steps in warning them and act accordingly. are you responsible for your neighbor's actions?? I should hope not..it could happen again at bella sirena , it could happen to a friend ant it shouldn't happen to anyone please pass it on...

I stand corrected--Thought the group was given numerous warnings. Sounds like Sirena needs a big attitude adjustment.

Not sure what exactly they were evicted for but Maria does say they were asked to turn down their music more than once. If they tell you to turn it down once, it shouldn't be turned up so loud again that they have to tell you again. I'm not saying that's a reason to get evicted, but there are 2 sides to every story - and then the truth. I'll bet if we had info from Security, they would tell you another story. That being said, if they broke the rules and had to be evicted it should have been in the morning, not in the middle of the night.

I think if the police said they were not going to evict me. The management would have been hard pressed to get me to leave in the middle of the night.

yes that't what we kept asking to be able to leave in the morning cause there was children but my issue here is...why evict people that were allready asleep?? and the children?? also another very good point is someone in our group made their reservation separatly with their own cc , they were present and were not evicted, im glad they wer not, they had an 8 yr old but they were not part of the group that reserved together. i just think its wrong for people that were not involved to pay the price for someone elses mistakes.

im not saying put up with it, but there are other ways to handle issues like this like restricting the use of outdoor facilities to the people that were causing disturbances or problems, or just let the group leave in the morning.. or evict the ones breaking the rules, thats fair

Humm, Sometimes our obstreperous guards act up too, Seaside was probably the rental agency, won't be the first time they're going to have a major dispute with a credit card company! Have you called your cc company?

Hmmmmm......I asked the question above twice. No response from Maria. Why do I get the feeling that maybe they were threatened with eviction but not really thrown out, or if they were, it was in the morning?

Well, unless they crossed the border at San Luis, Nogales, or some other crossing they didn't cross at Sonoyta. That border crossing closes at midnight and does not open again until 6:00 a.m. If you were evicted at 1:00 a.m. and got home at 5:00, then you live in Mexicali?
