The Sonora Secretary of the Economy notes the investigation of this project is on....the effect this will have on this folly is up in the air..."first rule of holes.....stop digging"...comes to mind
"He revealed that operated illegally in the tourism project of the Home Port in Puerto Penasco and that has to do with bidding and construction failures of the first phase of the project which has resulted in any legal action currently underway.

These failures impacted on prices and on terms that the project had and what seems incomprehensible is that they have not taken action to correct, he said.

In that regard, he announced that there will be working groups to evaluate the project and develop strategies to prevent further delays in the delivery of the project that aims to create thousands of jobs in the region with the promotion of new shipping routes in the Gulf of California.

On my trip to Norway I spoke with an expert on "MuLu's" the Norwegian term for jetty......without using the french interlocking system these things tend to break up.Silt will be a constant problem.

Yep...what would a country on the North Atlantic with a great Naval history know about the sea compared to Mexican real estate sales professionals
This will make your head explode....what is being investigated....
"As an example of corruption in the country, the government of Sonora points during the period (2009-2015) by Guillermo Padres Elias, by the way of PAN extraction, one of his officers named Javier Tapia Camou, then Chairman of the Port Authority of Sonora SA de CV and while former general coordinator of the Commission for Tourism Development of the state, who at the time was reported to the authorities to request a commission of 28 percent of the contract the work of the quay of the Home Port, Puerto Penasco, the winner of the bidding company (December 2014), Infrastructure and Industrial Projects Diamante SA de CV, to guarantee the payments of the work stipulated in the contract amounts to two hundred fifteen million pesos. This alleged, exclusive to this medium, businessman William Garduza Urgell, who also accused the former PAN official Tapia Camou, to request that services providers "entire confidence is hired official of the time "to provide him with the materials of the works, with proposals inflated 30 to 40 percent to the price of local and national market, which in either case exposed the winning contractor agreed the tender, so we suspended the first down payment, it should be 30 percent of the total amount, in order to start the work. Finally the company winning the tender, then they gave the 8.8% advance, so which immediately he demanded, as he should have been given thirty percent, and soil mechanics, access permissions and dumping, important to start work elements, as the contract required. Before finishing his term as an officer, the employer threatened into giving the work to another company, which of course did not accept. The builder William Garduza Urgell, CEO of Infrastructure and Industrial Projects Diamonds, SA de CV, has led to the Mexican courts so disgusted with corruption, and hopes that justice put in place to this former official and contract work that won a legal bid process is respected, that asks nothing more. Dear readers of this column, corruption and impunity, are the evils that drag down the precipice to our country, this case and many others, are proof that things have not changed. I will follow this case, to address several of you that it was this infamous affair. National Journalism Award 2008. Award Periodismo2013 Mexico. [email protected]

Don't worry, RP will never see cruise ships like that. Another positive, if your condo faces southeast like many do, you can't even see the jetty (yet) from your patio. It was a pleasant surprise realizing that from the Grande building at Las Palmas.

The Homeport in Puerto Penasco is under investigation by the new govenors team. The last administration robbed it blind " he eyes indicate the government of Sonora for the period (2009-2015) of Guillermo Padres Elias, by the way of PAN extraction, one of his officers named Javier Tapia Camou, then chairman of the Port Authority of Sonora SA de CV and while former general coordinator of the Commission for Tourism Development of the state, who at the time was denounced to the authorities to request a commission of 28 percent of the contract work of the quay of the Home Port, Puerto Cliff, the winner of the bidding company (December 2014), Infrastructure and Industrial Projects Diamante SA de CV, to ensure the payments of the work under the contract amounts to two hundred fifteen million pesos.
This alleged, exclusive to this medium, businessman William Garduza Urgell, who also accused the former PAN official Tapia Camou, to request the services from "the full confidence of the staff, of the time" were hired, so provide him with the materials of construction, with inflated proposals 30 to 40 percent to the price of local and national market, which in either exposed cases agreed the winning contractor bidding, so they suspended first down payment, it should be 30 percent of the total amount, in order to start work.
Finally the company winning the tender, then gave the 8.8% advance, so he immediately demanded, as he should have been given thirty percent, and soil mechanics, access permissions and dumping, elements important to start, as the contract required work. Before finishing his term as an officer, he threatened the employer to give in the work to another company, which of course I do not accept.
The builder William Garduza Urgell, CEO of Infrastructure and Industrial Projects Diamonds, SA de CV, has led the Mexican courts such disgust with corruption, and hopes that justice put in place to this former official and the contract is respected the work that won a legal bid process, to begin work on such important work, that asks nothing more.
The incoming PRI governor of Sonora, Pavlovich Claudia Arellano, known in this case and many others who left the previous administration of parents. Surely one of his challenges will be to regain the confidence of Sonora, and show a government that just come to end corruption and impunity, and hear in his speech of swearing, and character is determined, employers and Sonora citizens generally expect much from it, time will tell.
Dear readers of this column, corruption and impunity, are the evils that drag down the precipice to our country, this case and many others, are proof that things have not changed. I will follow this case, to address several of you that I remain in this infamous affair ...."

This story is important because progress in the community depends on the flow of federal money.

This story is just one example of PAN ripping of the money from the Feds.....The community depends on this flow of cash. Will the governor be able or willing to fund a PAN town that is filled to the brim with bad actors?
