As a Cub Scout we were mentored and controlled by some of our straight white married female moms.

As a Boy Scout in Newport Beach we were mentored and controlled by a gaggle of young mackeral snapper priests who were as gay as a herd of castrated pink plush unicorns, my first exposure to real fags. The Scout leader was a 70 year plus skinny queen that never was seen without his Scout uniform and Smokey hat. He had an incredible garage turned shop where he could make any item of equipment as per the Scout manuals. His favorite past time was one on one training sessions with a fresh young Scout.

I couldn't stand any of it so transferred to the Sea Scouts at the Newport Sea Base next to the Balboa Bay Club. We had pro surfers, beach boys and real professional boat Captains as leaders as well as every type of sea faring watercraft imaginable for our use. We even had a sea marksmanship course and merit badge available and let us make use of almost every type of firearm. That training made my soon to happen transition to a US Army Air Cav Trooper a breeze.

"BE PREPARED" is my middle name.

Sea Scouts know never to talk about “the way of the sea” always one of the most pervy of the groups for some reason “multiple scouts have accused their scout leader of molesting them .They say skipper Eugene Austin Evans encouraged public masturbation on his boat, kept the ship stocked with pornography, gave the boys massages that devolved into molestation, and sexualized the names of food, such as "penis butter and jelly."

So OF...........

Do you keep a Jeep in PP? I always keep one of my TJ Rubicons down there. As I mentioned earlier I'll be down for four or five days next weekend if you want to tag along. There will some really big tides so plan on a surf casting rig to maybe snatch a corvina or two for the dinner plate. We will be poking around the enormous shell middens at Salinas Point made from thousands of years of oysters, clams, murexes and Cortez Conchs hauled up by the long gone Tepoca tribe that paddled out in their reed canoes to free dive for them back in the good old days.

As for identifying yourself on this or any other forum now days, you can absolutely count on a negative hate filled response related to ANY subject that you might bring up. Case in point: joanC above. He, she or it is so full of scalding acidic hateful piss that it probably flows from every pore on it's body. Being a "real estate agent" has it's draw backs especially when the people that you ripped off would just die to find out more about you. At least the used car salesmen in their Hawaiian shits and onion picker "cowboy" hats can make a quick retreat into the head at the dealership.

So another related subject..........has anyone heard anything from my "buddy" Kenny? The last time I saw him was at the PP Sam's Club parking lot maybe two years ago. He just stood there glaring at me with pure bloody hate in his eyes. Never had the balls to walk up at chat with me as I was guarding my open Jeep as the wife was in the store.

So there joanC, the "jig is up" with you, as more than likely your real name is Butterfield as in the Brill Creamed cabeza guy with your signature triple XXXL luau shirts from Big Lots.

And by the way joanC................UP YOURS!

JJ
JJ: where is Salinas point? We would ride -in the olden days, north of Cholla to another estuary we fondly name shell estuary because the shells of all types were 5-8 feet deep. Now you have me researching Tepoca indians……

Hello Dirt,

We will be down during the extreme new moon tides at the end of the month for five or six days. We almost always do a trip down that way to view and document the current "Rape of the Sea of Cortez". If you wanna tag along let me know.

That whole body of water from Pelican Point/Cholla Bay across to the defunct light house near Salina Grande is called Adiar Bay. The ancient and now extinct Indians that lived there were known as the Sand Papagos. They controlled the salt trade there and were quite well off considering the fact that they lived in an environment that can only be described as as close to HELL as any place on earth.

There was then and even now permanent fresh water all along that coast...if you knew where to find it! And willing to risk being stuck with an arrow head dipped in human shit, ground up scorpion tails and rattlesnake heads.

I met the German when I was 18. His shack still stood for about 10 years thereafter. My dad claims to have seen him in a Nazi uniform. We last saw him in the mid '70's. Thanks for the link to the article on subs in the Cortez Old55.

If it was one of my buds he didn't tell me about it. Maybe it is one of the guys I know from my past, but not one of my regulars. I wish we had a house there. Stuck renting until I win the Powerball.

Maybe 20k…Be great for you as fishing in Lobos would be your main deal and the boys could watch your boat in the Ejido.I will tell him….I also have a lot in St I’ll sell you supercheap….on a corner so a curved dual entry drive way good for boats is doable.

So...........................

Where is Mexico Joe?

Did some woke commie lib forum commisar bastardo band him or sumpin?? It's been days since he has gone off on one of his non-stop raging extra-ordinarily opinionated rants.

Anyway AZ Mike, we will be back down PP way on the 23rd thru the 27th of this month for the big new moon tides. If you want to tag along we will be heading out south to El Desemboque then doing a beach run up north to Santo Tomas. If the tide and time is right we might take a look at Jerry's WWII fighter plane that was still stuck en de muck the last time we were down that way last year. It is near the area where the rock boring Piddock Clams screw there way into the low tide exposed clay beds can be found. Always carry a surf casting setup since you never know what might be biting.

Those clams are the best!!

The Cannon Ball Jellyfish rape of the sea should be going at a full out blood lust by now in El Golfo. With the number of pangas and on-shore processing plants now ready to operate we should see the Cannon Balls completely wiped out in a week or two. Then what?? Scrape out the little Fiddler Crabs and send them on a dirt nap vacation to Korea too?

We watched a U-Tube vid today from Ko-Re-A all about how to prepare the Horse-Dick Gooey Duck Clams from the panga camp at Bahia San Jorge today. The cute little cookie chickie was almost orgasmic as she split the long dead bivalve into chunks. Especially after she removed the "fore skin" from the "penis" and pulled it out to show the viewers how it could erect almost four feet long"!! As she split the meat of the penis, actually the siphon, she was gushing over how delicious it was to eat a few pieces of it RAW while preparing it. So anyway it seems that our Gooey Ducks are a sexual delight for the women, not the limp dick guys that need the Giant White Sea Bass swim bladders to get hard. What a stinky hot date those people must endure. No wonder their birth rates are so miserable.

Some advice on not ever getting stuck in the sand or mud:

The minute that you leave the pavement put the vehicle in four wheel drive and leave it in four wheel drive until you are ready to get back on the pavement. You may be tooling down a sand, dirt or gravel trail where you don't think 4WD is necessary then in an instant you might be bogging down in deep soft sand or mud. When that happens if you're in 2WD you are already in the getting stuck event. Your TJ does not instantly jam into 4WD as there are gears to engage and distance to travel before all of that stuff meshes up. It just ain't gonna happen if you are already in a hole.

The minute that you leave the pavement air down the tires. Don't wait till you are in two feet deep muck and the valve stem is in sixteen inches down at the bottom of the wheel deep in water or slimy goop. I always drop the pressure to 10 psi. then check it again in a few miles as the now soft bulging tire builds up heat and the pressure increases. So you just might need to let more air out to bring them down to the 10 psi. range. Since you mention that you will be getting new tires you might consider buying a set of rapid air down valves. I have them on both of my TJ's and they save a lot of time letting the air down like maybe ten seconds at the most for each wheel. They will require drilling and additional hole in the wheel as they are only for deflating and your original valve will be used to inflate.

When you are ready to hit the pavement air the tires back up to highway pressure. This can be a slow process depending on the inflation system that you have like a bicycle tire pump, an electric compressor or a 3200 psi. Scuba tank. I carry a Scuba tank in my vehicles everywhere I go. With it I can inflate each tire to highway pressure in about thirty seconds. One of those Scuba tanks can easily inflate ten or fifteen big off road type tires, as long as you keep the tank topped off.

Carry more recovery gear than you will ever expect to use. Of course it's an issue in a little TJ Jeep but make the space for it. First would be at least one of the longest pull straps that you can find, next would be at least two but three or four would be better, steel shackles to connect the strap to your Jeep and the vehicle that will be pulling you out or maybe to another strap or two depending on how far from solid ground you might be bogged down in.

Carry a real full sized shovel that can move some dirt, not one of those folding toys they sell that might be good enough for digging a poop hole. You might be bogged down to the frame and have to move hundreds of pounds of dirt in order to get the wheels back on solid ground to drive out.

Carry an extra hydraulic jack or two. Your stock jack is designed to lift the axle with stock tires on flat pavement, not lift it when the axle is under two feet of sand or mud. Keep two or three wood blocks to increase the height of the jack. I keep a 2x4, a 4x4 and a 4x6 block in every vehicle.

Carry a High Lift jack. These are the ultimate for a speedy lift if you can find room for it. Don't forget they cannot lift your axle or wheel as they require a solid, not body sheet metal point to do the lift. That point will be the front or rear frame mounted bumper which means the lift will probably be more than two feet in order to get the wheel up off of the ground. They make a 12" x 12" base plate for those jacks for use in sand and mud otherwise the jack will just sink into the sand and lift nothing.

Carry a functional winch. This will be helpful especially if you have something to attach it to. Good luck if your out miles on a muck beach or out in the dunes. The last resort for a solid pull point will be your spare wheel, if you planned ahead and have the strength and balls to attempt this: walk out with your winch cable as far as it goes, did a DEEP hole, wrap the cable around the wheel thru the center hole and bury it. You now have a solid pull point and just might be able to get moving. You might have to repeat this ordeal several times depending on how far out you ended up.

Carry a CB Radio that works. Good luck trying to explain where you are stuck, especially in Spanglish!

By the way, I have never been stuck or marooned in a spot that I couldn't get out of on my own even if it took two days! Some day let me tell you about the adventure that I had in a four hundred foot deep swale of talcum powder sand in the dunes on the west side of the Pinacate....

Thank you Jim for the above information. Yes, his rig is loaded for bear.

Yup. Same thing happened on a job site in B.C. CanaDUH I was working on a few years ago. A young engineer trying to get his coworker unstuck. The ball and hitch part came through the rear window and squared him in the head, the hard hat he was wearing did little to protect him from the missile.
