Well, with El Nino this year, I'm not surprised. I found it interesting how they say it's "cyclic" (always has been), but yet in the same breath, they're trying to hook to global warming... er, ah... politically correct "climate change." Makes me laugh - the climate is always changing, always has been.

I've been in the middle of a huge bloom in the Cortez 30 miles out from San Carlos. Water was nice and blue, we were trolling for billfish. Suddenly turns into a yellow-green pea soup around us. Pull lines, run 10 miles to good bluewater again. Same thing, changes right into pea soup in front of our own eyes. Lasted for two days, then gone. Very odd.
