San Carlos vs Rocky Point

WOW, That place has sure changed since the last time I was there in 1983. A lot of $$ sitting on the hills invested there.
Does anybody know if the airstrip and set remains from the movie Catch 22 still exist.
They were there my 1st trip in 1980. I'm sure a resort sits on it now.

After waiting well over an hour at Nogales border (we entered at least half way in the line) I'm glad we're in Penasco. Can't imagine it every weekend, but San Carloso is beautiful!

Not a weekend trip. We'd go for 10-12 days, rent a house, put the boat in the Marina... and then cry when we'd have to come home. Great times, great getaway, but nothing like weekending in Rocky Point.

Took us several years to become part of "the good ol' boys club" there. I mean the San Carlos Yacht Club. They sponsor all the tourneys and give a lot back to the community.
