    Bring RV down permanently?

Unfortunately, James, that's incorrect. If you're in Yuma, you're not required to pass emissions, but if you're registered in Phoenix or Tucson, emissions are required.

Can I get in and out without a Passport??

Older than 16 requires passport.... We've been using our kids expired passport cards for a year now, through San Luis and Lukeville. Not a single issue, maybe because kids are under 14. Our passport cards are still valid. But also know several families that refuse to spend money on passports...

Trip report from a first timer July 2014

Sounds like what we'll be doing this weekend. How bad is the weather? We're heading down Friday morning, and weather reports say it'll be windy. Anyone there now to give me a weather report?

    Puerto Penasco Home Port

So the days of camping for $5 at the Reef are long gone? There is no access to that area anymore? It'll certainly be different this time. We haven't been to Rocky Point for a couple years.

    Blacklisted Gas Stations

They steal from everyone, including the employees. A family member worked at a Pemex in San Luis Río Colorado, he was desperate for work. They get paid $750 pesos a week! He found out the pumps were "off" everyday. At first he thought it was his math, so he was more careful, still he would...

How to Legally Bring $ for Property Purchase

Liens? In the USA? None. So, Santander, will allow me to withdraw money from a Bank of America account? This seems the easiest way. But I don't have a Credencial de Elector. I have dual, citizenship, but only have a Mexican passport. Could that be used? Thank you, for some useful advice.

How to Legally Bring $ for Property Purchase

^^^ this! He doesn't have a bank account. And wants cash. Bank here wants 2% to wire, but they don't know how much, if any, fees the Mexican bank will charge. As stated by PLAYA, Mexicans don't want to pay any of these fees. Seems a lot, for me to pay both fees, when I've already paid...

How to Legally Bring $ for Property Purchase

I do have copies of everything. I was hoping someone had previous experience declaring or taking more than $10k to Mexico. In reality $10k is not a lot and, for me at least, easy to prove funds - where it's going and where it came from. I've bought and sold properties in Mexico before, but the...
