There was a protest earlier but as of now 6:30 pm Sat. all is open. Starting last Wednesday stations in Penasco were running out of gas by Friday most were out. If you go I would make sure you top off in Ajo or Why. We were promised more gas soon, whatever that means:-)

We used Safe Send last week 01/23/2013 no problem, last day for Safe Send is February 3rd. We will probably start using Zoom.

We are having our annual fiesta the 8th of December from 2PM to 6PM at the community center I could use some help getting some gifts down, also if you feel led to give a gift for the children we need soccer balls, dolls, toy trucks/cars and make up kits for the older girls. Yes Mark we are having a lot of cases lately including our Jenny. Using lots of Calamine lotion, Benadryl & Tylenol!!

Saturday the 28th is our annual fiesta for the children. It will be at our community center on Lazaro Cardenas & 54th Avenue from 2 PM until ?? We will have games, clowns, hot dogs and fun times for the kids in all of us! All are welcome!!

We have 6 women enroled so far and the plan is to teach them how to make quinceanera (a social/religious ceremony when a girl turns 15) dresses. They are very expensive to buy and we know people who do very well making dresses!

Our food distribution has been moved to Saturday the 17th at the center so we could use some rice & beans! Thank you!!

That's what CFE told me also regarding the community center, even tho its made up of several lots. I am going to ask the again as we now have several buildings on the property, especially with the new kitchen.

Thanks to all who helped! We had a great time (the kids did too!) I had 11 cars & trucks behind me and they gave us all green lights at the border! We had enough gifts that we were able to supply a orphanage in Mexicali with gifts for their children also, God is good!!
