Cool projects Russ. I know each home is different, but roughly how much do you sell these for? Also is there a beach anywhere in Cholla Bay? I've only been to JJ's and haven't spent much time out there...
I echo everything Joe and lowmiler said. Those were great times in the late 90's/early 2000's. A part of growing up... I probably ran into you both more than a few times.
It's inevitable that uber/lyft makes it to RP. Probably within the next few years.
When people say "just take a taxi". Well that's easier said than done. Taking a taxi can result in scams, and at a minimum negotiation before getting in. I've been quoted anywhere between $8 - 25 to get from...
Do they even pretend it's still going to happen anymore? Hopefully something like a market can be made out of it, but boy those blocks are so ugly. Wish it were a pier.
Footnote here... The regular RP Triathlon is in April/May. This is the first time they're doing a Fall event and it's called Rocky Point Tri P.M.... The major difference being this one starts at 2:30pm instead of the normal 9am or so. Adjust accordingly! We'll be down as well that weekend and...
Typically everything is for sale in Mexico. I see those guys with horses on the beach all the time. I suppose you could just ask them how much for the horse? At a minimum, I'm sure they could set you up with somebody.
This might be the last chance to save the vaquita. Hopefully the sanctuary can be built and thrive, it seems like we're running out of time...

I'd prefer a base level of daycare so that people can work, but have better options for those that want to pay. Same with doctors, but we could (and have I think) argue this for days...
Maybe I'm just getting older, but I don't think I'd want to zipline in a foreign country at this point in my life. Sounds about as safe as those gliders flying around Sandy Beach.
Can somebody shed some light on how Real Estate is priced in Rocky Point? I've always had a bug to buy something down there. When the peso hit 20/1 I circled back and took a quick look at pricing and it doesn't seem like anything is cheaper. Is the local market essentially run in US Dollars...
Thank you for the update, that's good to hear. I can deal with the occasional shootout, but full scale mutilations, curfews, etc would be a little too much.
Haha I see you're going with the Donald Trump defense. Anyone with half a brain knew you were directing it towards her. If you actually thought people would think otherwise, then perhaps you're the idiot here?
Fwiw I've had several good meals at Capones and a couple bad ones at Capitan. Can't beat the view from up there for drinks though.
As for the watering down of drinks, I couldn't say. Usually grab a few buckets of dos xx for the table. I think moral of the story is that pretty anywhere in town...
According to pretty much every news source, he overpowered his captor and contacted authorities. Police originally tried to bill at as a rescue but that doesn't seem to be the case.
