If your not scared to get wet, when tide is way out go snorkeling and see all the bigger empty shells that get washed out past low tide line. If your lucky the tide left some nice ones that got stuck on the sand. The smaller, lighter and flatter shells come on the beach easier with the waters...

Very true, you have two tip choices, rock point which will out stand (last) if you pin the fish against the rocks or the 3 prong which I use. The 3 prong is the sh*t for me good for open water and around rocks if you take the right shot and go in sand instead of rock. No matter take a hand file...
