I'm not sure what's different. My family is flying in from Austin next week. The LAS / PPE round trip was $277 for each of them. The more expensive part was AUS / LAS at over $500 round trip each. More expensive in Feb when the weather is cooler?

Our dog will already be at our house. Our guests won't be traveling with pups.

Agree about the comparison. I grew up in Houston and weather is much worse there. Humid there year-round and lots of rain. Perhaps I'm jaded, but I don't remember seeing blue sky as a kid.
