Hey Stu, It gets 1350' deep offshore from Libertad. The pangaros catch the merluza (hake) on long lines there in 600' of water or deeper. Coyote caught a few when fishing for baqueta. I tasted some deep fried breaded at Capones and it reminded me of a McDonald's fillet o'fish.
