    Article on Mexican tourism:

Last weekend was one of the prettiest days I've experienced on the Sea of Cortez. Thousands of pelicans, teens, cormorants and dolphins.

Tijuanan look like ice cream cones with onions, cilantro, and avocados, and served on corn tortillas. Sonoran it seems are more smokey and the meat is seasoned more and usually flour tortillas.

Found great new restaurant: Taco Chile!

We went to a restaurant off the beaten path, Taco Chile. Off of Josepha, north of Leys, turn east. Drive over the speed bumps a couple of blocks on the north side of the road is Taco Chile, the best tacos we've had in Penasco. Also, the ambience is truly Mexican, everything recycled in cute...

Penasco is back! Trip 10/8 to 10/11

We drove down last Thursday, 2 cars going into Mexico. Remember the border closes right at 8, so plan when you're leaving because they're really strict about the gates closing, and you don't want to have to spend the night in Ajo like we did a couple of months ago. Stayed at the Marine Motel...

Coming down for the season later this week - what is the current drill?

We came back to the US on Saturday, 9/26, and no X ray machines were required, neither the old ones, nor the new ones. One far ahead of us got pulled over by the old X ray machine, not sure if they had to drive through or if they were even working.

    High Tide of Year 9/17

I have old pics of Las Conchas from 1987, and there were thousands of round rocks , along with plants on the dunes. Those are all gone now, atvs ruined the plants and people took the rocks, both kept the tides from eroding the dunes.
