Q-ban Well I just put my order in for a Penn pursuit II 6000, clam Close to 300 yrds of 10lb test for those long casts. My old reel could hold around 150 yards and I was running out of line when I would throw a long cast. I use a 8 1/2' rod.

I find that the fish look around those rock formations when tide is in for food. I would target the deeper side of the formation bigger fish there.

I would say that is a rock formations. If you look at the Las Conchas beach, you'll see the same and I know they are rocks there.

That was crazy to hear about the waves. My buddy said the wave was coming in the restaurant on the second floor down at fish market. For got the name of the place. He said it was a fault that was opening up on the bottom of the Sea of Cortez.
