No big sinkhole at the entrance to LC. There is a large hole there dug to take the runoff and it may be full. Moderate rain in LC, roads are not much worse than before the rain.

I inherited the shelves and many of the books when the Las Conchas Library closed from lack of use. I have lots of shelf space. Have gotten books for the Times several times. I go through 2 or 3 a weeks usually. I take a box and get a box.

Could not help but notice the heads of the screws which appear to be holding the deck to the body (Sorry, don't know the proper terms). After changing hinges held with similar screws on the oceaside of the house every two years I hope those are stainless !!! Or how does that work?

Please keep an eye out for books in Spanish. Much needed here. If you get those I will come and pick them up.

I have, somewhere in the computer files, a government produced map that states it show ALL the roads in Sonora. I'll try to find it again. Wish there were Geodetic Survey like maps available. I have them of every scale of the Gila in New Mexico !

Righto. The talk has been all about the border but without widening the crossing point and the road in all the way to the big intersection more lanes at the border won't help much.
