It seems like it's brown most times I've driven by, not a very attractive course. IMHO We went to the Mayan's course last March and it was nice and green while the LP course was, you guessed it, brown.

I bought some shrimp from Juan the Shrimp Guy in Cholla 3 weeks ago, Jumbo browns were $8 and Large were $7 per lb.

The past 1-2 years the flies have been so bad that they even were a problem in Cholla and usually it's too far west for them pests. When we were there 2 weeks ago not much of a problem, we only kept the doors and windows with screens open. The cooler weather will slow them down in a few weeks.

It was brown 2 weeks ago.
