Did you happen to know Doc from the night-train on 4th Jerry? That dude sold mucho mushrooms!
I did....the cops hated him...my bet is you were more of Ranch House guy. ( the biker bar the narcs just hated). They had great hamburgers

Nah more of a RUB than an outlaw, i did go to the Ranch-House quite a few times, even ran over their bikes when I left, Sorry bout that dirty-dozen!

start going back to Black Mtn. and the God's will be appeased.
Also the original truckers will have something to do again and maybe get paid or not.

I remember late 70's it was being called the "Raunch House", I had first arrived in Tucson Dec 77, and my brother told me about it then as a place to avoid.
I never did go in as far as I can remember.

I remember him as a bartender who famously would take the peg leg off and beat the crap out of dead beats with it.....as with the Homeport it just goes to show doing business with strangers is never a good idea.....
 
As far as I knew, Doc was a great guy. Loved the Night Train, great bar, especially after it closed for the night - I think it was around '76-'77.
are you guys referring to Choo Choo's on 4th in Tucson.? spent many a drink n drown/ wet T shirt wednsday in that place. Doc was an optomitrist..dealer as I recall

Hammock pilot .....the name was changed from Choo Choos in the late 70s.I think Shag became a partner and he was way more into the weed biz......he did 5 years then became a real criminal (California real estate developer)
