Lost at Sea … Any updates ?

Tides in the Sea of Cortez flow in a generally North and South flow. The wind on Thanksgiving was from the North to the South and in the afternoon the tide was outgoing. I am sitting on my porch in Playa Encanto looking across the beach at the ocean and it is almost due South. It seems very...

Lost at Sea … Any updates ?

As of 7 this morning still no sign of them. I live in Playa Encanto and there were strong off shore winds all day blowing from n/ne which would have pushed the kayaks away from shore. They are organizing a volunteer search this morning. Please keep these two in your thoughts and prayers.

How do we get strong Internet in Rocky Point?

We have microwave internet. I just ran an Okla speed test and got 39 megs download and 17 megs upload. We live out in Playa Encanto and I am not sure where else it is available. It has never gone down except once in a power outage when all of Penasco lost internet.

Today was more humid than the past for days by a little. I went back in my weather station history and it was the very same week last year that the hot weather started.

OK, who wants to try it first?

I don't want to start a gun rights debate but when will people learn it's illegal to bring guns into Mexico and if you're caught it's a big problem. This old "I forgot I had it" thing is ridiculous. Responsible weapons owners know where their weapons are. Yes, it's easy to forget, but that is...

I am really curious what SQ Advisors has to say. We have used them and they have been great, but it sounds like your experience with them is very different.
