I would go for the 21 foot. 18 feet is a little short to get caught out there if the seas get rough. i would also consider fuel capacity and range. and being 18 foot with a w/a cuddy does not leave alot of fishing room. if you want a great boat i have a 2250 w/a cuddy with a 200hp yamaha salt...

i will keep watching weather. There is not a whole lot to catch but rock bass and triggers at the closer reefs. The grouper bite is real slow this time of year. there might be the chance of a pinto. but i would not guarantee it.

the boat is up here in gilbert. did not see the sence of paying storage for two boats in pp. it gets 2 miles to the gallon at 4800 rpm and 39 mph.

bill. that is gonna cost more than 20 grand to do all of that work. give me 19,000 for my boat. it has a brand new power head with 1 hour on it. it runs great and comes with all the electronics and is ready to fish. the boat is an 2004. and is in great shape. powered by a 200 hp yamaha.
