Bella Sirena is the nicest complex on Sandy Beach. It's the only place I will stay at from now on. It's awesome.

So to finalize my thoughts on this....you don't need a passport. Go have fun in Rocky Point. And if you come back to the border and talk with an intense Southern drawl, have no ID at all, and are white.....then US Border Patrol will waive you back in and shake their head at your dumb redneck a$$ :)

In case anyone is wondering in 2012 if you need a passport....the truth and answer is NO, you don't. I would definitely recommend one because the US Govt says you need one, but they can not withhold a US citizen from entering their own country. In fact, the last two times I went to Rocky Point...

Last time I played Las Palomas, the ranger came by at like 3pm pulling pins because they were closing early. Since we're in the golf industry, and there was 3 hours of daylight left, we told him we'd pull all the pins for him and take them back to the shop. So we did. :)

Hi all, Been to RP many times....love playing golf at Peninsula de Cortez and Las Palomas. Never been to Laguna Del Mar. Is it still open? How much to play? Anybody been there recently to report on course conditions? Also - how do you get there? Looks like it's north of Cholla Bay? Thanks!
