Fished that area for quite a few years. They close it off and someone will open it up and they'll close it off again - hit or miss. Gave a local a rod and reel and some tackle as he was "sling fishing" off a bottle one time. The area can be some great shore fishing!!!! Nice report!

Awesome Video!!! A few months ago I watched Osprey dessimate the trout population at Willow Springs up on the Rim. I really like the part of the video where the Osprey looks like its surfing on the fish while its flying! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the report! Been watching Buoyweather for the last couple of days myself and am not thrilled. Got to make the best of it though. Maybe not go so far out but the boat is sound and mostly dry for a CC in rough seas. Ropelene not Glass and its a lot more forgiving.

You can get fishing licenses at the main city building close to old port. Its a fairly large yellow bldg with kind of an open breeze way. You go to the back of the breeze way follow the hall to the right and there is an office on the left.

Is there any place to get a one day license? I know you can get a week, a month, and a yearly at Conapesca via the Secretaria de Agrcultura but don't know if you can get a one day somewhere in Rocky Point or elsewhere. Thanks
