On the shortcut road to Las Conchas from the edge of town (i don't know the name of the street - goes from first light at the north end of town down to Freemont and the Pemex station) - down about 1.5 miles or so.

The Mayan and Laguna courses are in great shape - the Laguna course is such a great deal - $30 - granted you play the same 9 twice but it's really nice out there, course in great shape, and usually more people working the course than playing it at any given time.

Eddie Juarez on Mexican rodeo drive has a nice store and can order many things ie Ashley furniture etc.

The roads in Las Conchas were really torn up - the shortcut road, I think Blvd. Josefina (or something similar) has huge pot holes now many hidden by the water. I got the feeling that the city is still trying to get out from previous rain storms when this one hit as well. Good for the water...

Another big storm rolling through this morning. Roads already in some rough shape. I just don't remember it raining as much as it gas the last 6 weeks or so. I wonder what the yearly average rain fall is and what it's at right now.

I'm down this weekend and have noticed several construction projects around town (that don't appear to be an OXXO store - which are breeding like rabbits). Hopefully a good sign. I wonder if they will resume construction on the plaza/theater complex in the marina.
