With the peso dropping (14.12 peso/dollar at the Bodega on Saturday), it appears that the local businesses are raising their prices to keep up. Paid about 10% more for the same menu item this weekend from about a month ago.

monday before I left, there were some people blocking the entrance to the Pithaya and the motel with a chain and a red and black flag attached (like the red and black flag at the old Desert Oasis). Does anyone have info on what was happening?
